Server | Workflow Results | Length - How is "length" calculated?

Hello,

As the title suggest, how is length calculated? I have experienced some large variances in runtime and I'm trying to determine where to look. Is it calculated from when the workflow starts to run until it finishes? From when it is queued until it finishes? Something different?

Poking around in the logs from my server, length appears to be the actual execution time and does not factor in any time that may have been spend in queue.
