I want to export CSV files without the quotations around each value so I don't need to remove them later. Is that possible?

The CSV export adheres to RFC4180 ( https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4180 ) , which outlines under section 2 the quote usage. It is highly suggested to ensure data fidelity.

Ultimately to ensure data fidelity, we do use the quotes.

Further data usage, for example moving to another DB or ingesting the data into applications should work without any problem ,if they adhere to the aforementioned RFC

In case of importing the data, most systems have proper tools, for example https://neo4j.com/developer/kb/how-do-i-use-load-csv-with-data-including-quotes/

Thanks for the explanation. It would be nice though to not have to go through the additional process of removing the double quotes for the simpler files that I am working with.
