SOLVED

When renaming columns using Find and Replace and using Regular Expressions, there is no option to have that rename recurring.

The functionality of the replacement could mirror the same for row-field values where "Multiple Occurrences" is a flag under Advanced Settings.

Hi, Jonathon--

Yes, this should be available with the next major update of GDP. Search term: Rename columns based on a pattern.

There will be a Match all occurrences checkbox at the bottom of the page.

Cheers,

-SteveO

Seems to be a two month release cycle usually. Last one was in Nov 2018 so one it's due shortly. I guess it's a bit later due to Xmas holidays...

Hi, Christian--

Unfortunately, I don't have a timetable for this next major release. If you need to check it out now, it is already available in the free version of Wrangler: cloud.trifacta.com.

Cheers,

-SteveO
