Alteryx Designer Cloud Discussions

Find answers, ask questions, and share expertise about Alteryx Designer Cloud.

We are in the process of using Connections for SharePoint using OAuth2.0. As part of our security review we were asked the question on the process of managing Client Secrets. Is there a documentation which explains how Client Secret are managed ? Thanks.

Hi @HooiSoon Khoo?,

Take a look at the documentation on OAuth 2.0, it touches on client secrets within it. https://docs.trifacta.com/display/AWS/OAuth+2.0+for+SharePoint

Hi @Courtney Burgess?

Thank you for responding. We have taken a look at the documentation on OAuth 2.0 which specific how the client secret can be generated and used.

What we are looking for is how Trifacta manages the client secret keys that are generated and stored by Trifacta. Essentially how the client secret keys are managed - ie, the controls that are placed around the client secret keys to ensure the keys remain confidential.

Was hoping that someone may have some documentation on how Trifacta manages the client secret keys.

Thank you.
