Can I use linked dataset (created by Analytic Hub in GCP) to build flows in DataPrep?

When I tried to add table from linked dataset (created and shared by Analytic Hub form GCP) I have this message:Do you support this kind of datasets in Google DataPrep? If yes how to add it to library an use in flows?

Are you importing this dataset through the native BigQuery connection in Dataprep? Please let me know.

There is indeed a chance that linked datasets created in this way are not supported -- I feel like it might fall under "NOTE: Reading from external tables or from tables without a schema is not supported." in the BigQuery Connections doc here -- but I will see what I can find out!

After further investigation, it turns out that linked tables are indeed not supported. Therefore, I encourage you to contribute feedback about this in the Ideas Section of the Community Portal. This is monitored by the Product team directly, and other users can also upvote your idea.
