Run a Plan in Snowflake rather than Photon

Hi,

I'm using Alteryx Cloud for some minor ETL work between two Snowflake databases and have been given the directive that as much as possible should be pushed down into Snowflake for some in-db processing. I can run an individual workflow in Snowflake but when I schedule a workflow or a series of workflows in a plan, it tries to run it in Photon. I can't see any settings or toggles to alter this.

Anyone know where settings like this could be or if there is a workaround?

I reproduced this behaviour using Designer Cloud (Designer Experience) workflows. I will investigate further and update here.

In the meantime, the workaround is to implement Plan tasks as Designer Cloud (Trifacta Classic) flows. In my testing, Snowflake pushdown took place with Trifacta Classic flows, whereas the Designer Experience workflows indeed switched to Photon.

Just a quick update: it turns out that the desired behaviour has not been implemented yet for workflows, but we will be starting on this very soon. Thanks for pointing it out!
