loanDepot (NYSE: LDI) is a digital commerce company committed to serving its customers throughout the homeownership journey. They are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will be providing actionable business analysis and operational insight to the organization by compiling and analyzing internal and external data while creating and administering reports (ETL workflows and database structures).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Involved in various complex business intelligence projects, such as preparing and analyzing key performance metrics, pipelines, scorecards, cost per loan, and customer trends
  • Contribute to all phases of the mortgage process to produce crisp, concise, and executive-level reports, dashboards, and scorecards
  • Design reports that best tell the story using a creative and resourceful approach to solving problems
  • Develops and applies expertise in business analysis of data to see beyond the numbers to develop a robust understanding of the reporting metrics and how they connect with core business objectives
  • Works independently with a project manager mentality to complete the full cycle of analytical requests
  • Works with loanDepot’s data and strategy teams to create reporting synergy and seamless cross-company/industry data and analytics
  • Provides support for ad hoc analysis, monthly reporting, and financial and strategic planning
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3 + years of on-the-job relational database experience using SQL Management Studio (view and stored procedure creation)
  • Proficient with Tableau (row-Level security, Hyper Extract Optimization, Containers, Parameters, Sets, Calculated Fields, LOD, Data Blending and Join, Time-series, Maps)
  • Knowledge of Python web frameworks and event-driven programming in Python
    Proficient in back-end component development and integration of user-facing elements into applications
  • Proficient Excel knowledge (Power Query, PowerPivot, Data Connections, VLOOKUP’s, Index Match, Conditional Formatting, VBA Macros)
  • Experience with any of the following is highly preferred; Alteryx, JIRA, Informatica, SSRS, Power BI, Azure Cloud Reporting Environment
  • Financial industry background with experience in the Mortgage industry preferred
  • Tableau External Service integration (R, Python) preferred
  • Prior experience reporting against a loan origination system is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or another related field

Salary:

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is between $74,000 and $111,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
